First Coast Capital is focused on companies with a history of consistent results in growth markets with the opportunity for organic and acquisitive expansion.  Our preference is to partner with ownership groups that are willing to continue actively participating in the business for 2-5 years with an ongoing equity stake.  In addition, we look to partner with other Private Equity Firms and Capital Groups that bring experience and beneficial relationships in the target industry.  

General Criteria:

Platform location in the Southeastern USA 

Minimum EBITDA  $1 MM

Capable and stable leadership

Ownership maintains an equity interest 20-35%

Ownership remains active in the business for a minimum of two years post acquisition

High potential for organic and/or acquisitive growth

Fragmented industry

Product expansion opportunity

Market expansion opportunity

Lack of financial and/or operational acumen creates margin improvement opportunities
